“He knew then, at that moment, his fate had been irrevocably entwined with hers.”

Princess Wren Aranvia’s existence is kept secret from the entire world.
Forbidden from leaving the palace grounds until the day she marries, the worst thing she can imagine happening to her is being forced into a betrothal. But when her family is brutally slaughtered by mysterious, masked assassins, Wren’s forced to flee the only life she has ever known, straight into the perilous wilds of Lodhanis. Hunted and alone, she falls into the hands of dangerous Elven rebels, the very people who most likely killed her family, and who very much want her dead – like Feilann, a brooding, frustratingly cryptic rogue who guards an impossible secret that could very well tear Wren apart.
In a world shaped by spell-wielding Beasts and twisted by the ambition of men, Wren slowly unravels the secrets behind her family's murder. But along the way, she awakens an ancient, untamed magic that tempts fate, calling into question everything she’s ever known and exposing truths long buried by legend and ash.
“The Last Beast” is the first installment in a five-part Romantasy series with Entwined Publishing, coming in January 2027.
Who I Am
I am a debut novelist and art hobbyist in the Chicagoland area, whose journey into fantasy writing began with a made-up runic alphabet I started developing one day while bored at my nine-to-five. It quickly morphed into a fully-developed world filled with spell-wielding Beasts and, yes, a hand-drawn fantasy map. Within this world, I found Wren.
While this is my first full-length novel, I’ve always enjoyed writing, particularly short stories in the paranormal/horror genre. And, as most writers can probably attest, I have journals upon journals of poetry and other random thoughts I generously call “musings,” which I share on Instagram. Like my artwork, my writing incorporates nods to classical tropes and stories, and is heavily inspired by my interest in folklore and mythology.
By day, I am an interior designer. But give me a pen and paper, and I’ll soon start scribbling nonsense that could very well turn into something. I live with my husband and daughter in Chicago, along with our small zoo of pets, and none of this would be possible without their support.
